The 1st Pharmacogenomics day was held in the lecture hall of the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens. Over 80 participants followed this educational event that evolved around the promise of pharmacogenomics in modern medical practice, novel technologies pertaining to biomarker detection and applications of pharmacogenomics in the field of cardiovascular diseases and hemoglobinopathies.
